The danger of Calvinism for Calvinism’s sake..

..is not a problem for real Christians because God works in us to do His pleasure.

Php 2:13  for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to his good pleasure.

However, if you are not a Christian, but have heard of the rise in popularity of Calvinism, which is simple Christianity, and seek, for instance, a new instrument for modern social justice paradigms, you need to be aware of several things.

The very definitions/spirits on which what is popularly called ‘social justice’ paradigms are founded are lies that have branched off the lie of human free will and are destructive.

Consider just one: Love.

For the most part, even what is being called Reformed Women are just as quick to say “Don’t touch my love!” as are overt pagan women. By that, they mean “Don’t touch the surrounding definitions that make the modern paradigm of love truth. I’m heavily vested in those peripheral definitions being truth for the safety of my soul and having eternal fruit in Christ.”

The modern paradigm of love is essentially that if men don’t have at least partial free will, then love can’t make sense. Love= free will + creatures + spiritual and ideological elements derived from free will; all directed toward another creature and God ..in that lie/paradigm.

The doctrine of free will may be decried in some Reformed circles, but the definition of money that relies on it and the things money can buy as supposed evidence of love is exactly as sacrosanct as Jesus to those in those circles. In the rush to stabilize a recognition in others of love having been performed toward them, those periphery definitions as pre-suppositions are idolized as the stabilizing factor in common with those for whom ‘love’ and ‘social justice’ is done. In non-Christian circles, ( particularly in non-Christian ‘social justice’ circles ) what good is doing love or social justice toward people who can’t recognize what you did? How would they know anything had happened to them?

In Christ, a reliance on the recipient of love having ‘recognition’ of having been loved by a Christian is forbidden.

Matthew 6:3,4  But thou, when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand does;  so that thine alms may be in secret, and thy Father who sees in secret will render it to thee.

Thus a reliance on socially defined love paradigms and those deceived by them is forbidden.

Doing a modern conception of free will-based love is anti-Christ. A person deceived they have even partial free will –to love with– is easily manipulated into euthanizing a ‘loved one’ ( one to whom such acts and merchandise have been ‘done’ as a repository/evidence locker of one’s personal goodness or ‘inward dwelling of Christ’)  for supposedly ‘losing free will’ and thus ‘probably desiring death’ as equally as a non-Christian.

Euthanasia is not of Christ.

You can be as ‘Calvinistic’ as you want, but in order to ‘do’ the ‘social justice’ of the world and be known for it, you have to go against Christ, because Christ is all truth all the time with no breaks. Christ doesn’t dig you a well for clean water or rescue you from earthquake rubble and slip you arminianism, feminism, abortion and condoms at the same time. He may send lying spirits to do that, but does not Himself do it. Christ is completely unconcerned about Satan’s common sense about how to put a mercantile system in place that grinds all beneath its feet. To be deceived that all that makes that mercantile system work is a sacrosanct foundation that God Himself must be captive to in order to be recognized by men or even new creatures in Jesus Christ as having received God’s love is anti-Christ.

Yet over the past one hundred years and even earlier, a lot of those definitions ( love, money within a free will paradigm and notions of fairness and the like that rely on them..)  of Satan have woven their way into the fabric of the visible Church, which has then given those lies respectability and even modern Calvinist are now defending those principles as if they were of Christ and finding solidarity with overt wolves and non-Christians on that basis alone.

To be a new creature in Jesus Christ makes you invulnerable against losing your soul. But it doesn’t guarantee you eternal fruit in Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:11-18  For other foundation can no man lay besides that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  Now if any one build upon this foundation, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw,   the work of each shall be made manifest; for the day shall declare it , because it is revealed in fire; and the fire shall try the work of each what it is.  If the work of any one which he has built upon the foundation shall abide, he shall receive a reward.  If the work of any one shall be consumed, he shall suffer loss, but *he* shall be saved, but so as through the fire.  Do ye not know that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?  If any one corrupt the temple of God, *him* shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are *ye*.  Let no one deceive himself: if any one thinks himself to be wise among you in this world, let him become foolish, that he may be wise.

You build on sand when you take for granted that non-Christian concepts of money and love have any place in Christ. God directly commands you to become foolish in regard to those sophistries. It is not at all that there can be no Christian definitions of love or money for society: but none will be based on free will, and thus none will have the effects that free will based notions of love and ‘social justice’ are having.

Yet it is obvious that John Piper and the like want a place at the table of non-Christian concepts of money, love and society and essentially want to say to the world, “we have something to offer too in the way of your exact social justice and the definitions on which it relies”. His giving the right hand of fellowship to Rick Warren is an overt sign he thinks they have much in common and can work toward a common goal from a common foundation as embracing those lies as if they were truth or as if doing so while knowing they are lies is a sign of love to a deceived person.

Together they are no different than the women who have relied on false foundations to prove their ‘love’ and now cry out ‘Don’t touch anything that keeps my notions of love and proof of having done love intact!’. They want the whole evil show kept in place, with what they will call ‘a Calvinist twist’. They want a Calvinist horse to pull anti-Christ’s wagon and be proud just to walk in front.

In anti-Christ, you can do an idealization of a system of doctrine for the sake of doing that doctrine. You never have to worry about any lies that wove themselves into your doctrines thousands or hundreds or tens of years ago. But you can’t do that in Christ.

Gold stays gold because of the laws of physics that have to do with gold. If those laws change, gold isn’t gold anymore and loses its value. The foundational definitions of money, love, society and the like of a non-Christian outlook constantly change, despite the wishes of those who trust in them. These days, all has been tweaked to sell merchandise as the ultimate proof you ‘love’ somebody. Yet all morality and value based on those lies evaporates when those lies change. It is not possible in Christ to build on a foundation that was nothing more than a paradigm of your own lifetime and what you did in the service of that paradigm count for eternal fruit or morality or righteousness before God. Yet that is exactly what John Piper, Rick Warren and host of other deceived persons would have you build on and say the mere fact you labored together in that vain task proved you loved Christ, had been washed in the blood of Christ and had been born again by hearing Christ as the Word of God. (!)

Those who think and live exactly like Rick Warren and Obama have dug themselves a hole they set for Christians but into which they have themselves fallen. They pretend that if they cannot define love and economics and all else of a society in  a very tangled web of false definitions and then ‘fix’ society according to those definitions, then nothing can be done even by God. It is not at all Social Justice to keep them in that hole or to jump in with them and pretend solidarity. Calling that Calvinism as a name brand of ‘love’ is anti-Christ.

Matthew 6:19-24  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust spoils, and where thieves dig through and steal;  but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust spoils, and where thieves do not dig through nor steal;  for where thy treasure is, there will be also thy heart.  The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body will be light:  but if thine eye be wicked, thy whole body will be dark. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great the darkness!   No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and will love the other, or he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
