The Love of God and Justice

1John 5:1-5  Every one that believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God; and every one that loves him that has begotten loves also him that is begotten of him.   Hereby know we that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous.   For all that has been begotten of God gets the victory over the world; and this is the victory which has gotten the victory over the world, our faith.   Who is he that gets the victory over the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Once more: Hereby know we that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.

We do not know we love our Christian brothers and sisters by listening to their version of worldly love.

We do not know we love our brothers and sisters by any way they react to our doing, as God does through us, His commands.

We only know we have loved our brethren when we know in ourselves, as God demonstrates to us, that He has done His Word, as opposed to non-creating speech, in us and through us.

If we ask our Christian brothers and sisters if they feel the love of God from us toward them, that is asking the wrong party: we only ask God. We are not subject to the daily deceptions that lay hold on even new creatures in Jesus Christ from time to time and thus are not subject to Satan’s manipulation of weaker brothers and sisters who supposedly ‘need to know they are being loved’ in accordance with worldly standards.

Those false Christians deceived they have free will and who need constant proof from others that another person’s supposed free will is doing an ideal model of behavior toward them that is easily recognized in the world as ‘love’ are not Christian brothers and sisters. No amount of emotion is sufficient to satisfy their hearts they are loved because their notions of love are a complete lie. They are not interested in keep God’s commandents and thus by God’s definition of Christian brotherly love do not love us, no matter how they cry out “love!, love!”

False love is the number one attack on the household of faith in Jesus Christ in these days. By supposing that love is proved by a feeling in another person’s heart, God’s actual commands are by-passed and ignored. That is sin, not love.

Doing God’s justice as God does it through us is love to our brethren, no matter how the world may howl.

1John 5:9-17  If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For this is the witness of God which he has witnessed concerning his Son. He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself; he that does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning his Son.   And this is the witness, that God has given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.   He that has the Son has life: he that has not the Son of God has not life.   These things have I written to you that ye may know that ye have eternal life who believe on the name of the Son of God.  And this is the boldness which we have towards him, that if we ask him anything according to his will he hears us.   And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.  If any one see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life, for those that do not sin unto death. There is a sin to death: I do not say of that that he should make a request.  Every unrighteousness is sin; and there is a sin not to death.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
