What is the definition of an Army?

If you are deceived you have free will, that definition can only be that an army is a vast collective of free willed beings that constitute as a whole so much more free will than the individual as to overpower the free will of that individual for any given purpose; a pooling of so-called personal sovereignty into a Public Mass that can dictate to the individual ( who must also be deceived they have free will in order to be intimidated by the collective voice of the lie..) whatever is desired.

From wikipedia on an article about gangs: The related word “mobster” is a term derived from Latin and Aramaic. The word mobi means large gathering in Aramaic, and similarly, mob in Latin means crowd.

How might that definition among free willers work against them?

They would be deceived that whatever the Army wanted to do, they could actually do ..because they had so much free will.

1. If for instance, they were members of a gang that has a motto of BIBO, blood in blood out, as indicative of “once you are in you can never leave or we will kill you” , that would mean they would actually be forced to stay in for life purely as a widget of their own outlook on reality. They would have to see that collective as powerful and able to enforce that power in all circumstances because of the free will aspect of all concerned. Whatever was threatened would necessarily take place. None could ever leave the gang even if they wanted to. None could ever stop their illegal and immoral activities or they would be killed ..is the premise of that mindset.

2. A media ploy as hype that placed a political figure in office would necessarily have to looked on by those victimized by it as a permanent arrangement. Only a large crowd on occasion would be necessary to hold a vast populace in check purely on the premise that the army of a certain political persuasion was much larger than just those that showed up and thus was much more powerful than the individual ‘free’ will of those of differing political/moral understanding of reality.

Their own outlook on reality that made them seem to have an occasion for ‘more”self respect’ than total lack of free will could give them made them prisoners of deceit and afraid when no one had any power to harm them. Their own pretenses at private power made them slaves.

person deceived they have free will but that a collective of free willed people have more

person deceived they have some free will but that a collective of free willed people have more

To one not deceived they have free will, an army could be a collection of deceived individuals who thought that they had free will and could do whatever they wanted. Such things happen all the time. Muslims, gangs, Mormons, Scientologists, Jehovah’s Witness, Seventh Day Adventists, Hindus, Roman Catholics, Byzantines/Eastern Orthodox, Free Will Baptists, etc. They are famous for being follow-the-leader types who are are not dangerous once God cuts them off from The Voice of the Collective Leader. Those kinds of armies are notorious for being The Enemy who might on one day do you favors, only to destroy everything around you and them as part of their fundamental outlook on reality and never know it.

Thus: 2 Corinthians 6:14,15  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?   And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

…is proved to be truth.

Alternatively, an army could be a collection of those not deceived they have free will ( new creatures in Jesus Christ ), but understand that God does what He wants to do through them in any given instant even in the understanding that a lot of the time, their own desires go one way while reality goes  another as a rule of life and that while a collection of individuals into a single, identifiable body as an army has its advantages, it isn’t necessary at all times. If they are divided into smaller units or even scattered as individuals ..so what?

It is never a question of “pooling power” at all, so that ‘power’ that was supposedly pooled cannot be dissipated. Only those deceived they have free will attempt to “pool personal power”  and are afraid to move without supposedly having done so and supposedly assuring that pooling remain in effect in perpetuity.

Different outlook from different creatures. Different armies. Different outcomes.

Seeking to mimic those deceived they have free will is disaster and blasphemy. Those who hate Christians cannot hold to any particular goal. They cannot hold onto a particular hatred or a particular desire or anything else. In their own lives, as a standard condition of life, desire goes one way, reality another. Simply because they are deceived they have free will ‘and so’ everyone supposedly has free will and the falsely idealized other guy is praiseworthy or blameworthy, they are gathered into large groups opposed to their perceived enemies-of-the-moment as God does that. But their intentions as threats means nothing and has no power.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen
